FIND YOUR NEXT CHAPTER

50 book choices for every grade.

A starting shelf for every reader. Explore the titles, find a physical copy, and choose your next book with your teacher.

Choices to explore—not required reading.

These MPCBL starter lists use broad grade placement, not measured reading levels or individual assessments. Neighboring grades share some titles. Teachers should preview the themes and edition for each student; older-grade selections may contain mature content. Early-grade readers may benefit from reading together.

A recommendation does not guarantee a quiz is available. Reading choices and teacher-approved quizzes are separate. ISBNs vary by edition; use the one on your physical book.
